How to care a window film
Although window films have a long life, some minimal care must be taken to maintain their good performance and appearance.
– Once the films are installed, wait at least one week to be able to touch or washthem. During this time it is possible that some lines or bubbles appear. This is normal since the adhesive is in the process of curing, which will disappear as the days go by.
– To clean the films it is recommended to use ammonia-free spray cleaners. Use only soft cotton cloths and rubber squeegees without metal parts.
– Take particular care not to use window blinds or curtains very close to the films as the friction could scratch them. It is also recommended to keep plants and stand coat hangers separated from the windows where the films are present.
– Do not use adhesive tapes or suction hangers on windows with films as these could come off the glass.
